The Azerbaijan State Agrarian University (ADAU) hosted a conference The Role of Heydar Aliyev in the Development of the Agrarian, Ecological and Water Economy Sectors".dedicated to the 102nd anniversary of the birth of the National Leader Heydar.
Before the event oganized by the initiative of the Republican Union of Agrarian, Ecological and Water Economy Workers' Trade Unions, a member organization of the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation, and with the support of the ADAU student trade union committees the flowers were first laid in front of the bust of the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev at the University, and his esteemed memory was commemorated with respect.
The event kicked-off with the playing of the National Anthem and a minute of silence in memory of our martyrs.

Speaking at the conference, the Rector of the University, Zafar Gurbanov, reflected the important work done by the great personality Heydar Aliyev in the training of specialists in agriculture, the development of agrarian education and the establishment of this field on a scientific basis.
Advisor to the Chairman of Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation (AHIK), Chairman of the Republican Union of Trade Unions of Agrarian, Ecology and Water Economy Workers Mammad Hasanov spoke about the services of the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev in the establishment and development of the agricultural system, emphasizing that he identified agrarian, ecology and water economy as one of the priority areas.
Chairman of the Ganja branch of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences Fuad Aliyev, Deputy Chairman of the Republican Union of Trade Unions of Agrarian, Ecology and Water Resources Workers Fuad Mammadov, Advisor to the Chairman of the Board of the United Water Supply Service of Large Cities of the Azerbaijan State Water Resources Agency Aydin Abbasov, and Head of the 10th Regional Ecology and Natural Resources Department Azer Guliyev spoke in their speeches about the great attention and care of the National Leader for the development of agriculture in our country.
Finally, 20 students of ADAU who distinguished themselves in terms of their educational indicators were awarded by the Republican Union of Trade Unions of Agrarian, Ecology and Water Resources Workers.
