The VII Congress of the Republican Committee of the Trade Union of Public Employees and Workers in Public Services of the Republic of Azerbaijan — a member organization of the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation— has taken place.
The event began with the national anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan, followed by a minute of silence in honor of National Leader Heydar Aliyev and the cherished memory of our fallen heroes.
During the congress, participants were briefed on the work carried out since the previous congress. Reports from the Mandate and Audit Commissions were presented and reviewed. Delegates then proceeded to discuss items on the agenda, resulting in the adoption of relevant resolutions.
By a majority vote of the congress delegates, Hikmat Nabiyev was elected Chairman of the Republican Committee of the Trade Union of Public Employees and Workers in Public Services of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
It is worth noting that Hikmat Nabiyev holds a bachelor’s degree in Public and Municipal Administration from the Academy of Public Administration, as well as a master’s degree in Economics from the Azerbaijan State University of Economics. He has been awarded the Medal for Distinguished Service in Civil Administration by Presidential Decree of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
