
A meeting was held with the heads of member organizations of the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation (AHIK).
The Chairman of Confederation Sahib Mammadov spoke about the work done to protect the labor rights of union members, protect their health and organize their recreation, and noted the steps taken to simplify the procedure for issuing passes to sanatoriums and recreation centers.
Emphasizing that more than 35 employees currently serve citizens at the “Kurort” Tourism Information Center, the Chairman of the Confederation noted that the E-AHIK electronic reservation system will be launched from June and citizens will receive their referrals completely electronically. Then, a video clip was shown on the innovations applied in issuing tickets.
The meeting heard information on issuing tickets, the measures implemented and planned by the Republican Union of Agricultural, Ecological and Water Resources Workers, the activities of the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Sports Organizations Association and “Kurort” Closed Joint-Stock Company.
Then discussions were held, proposals were listened to, and measures were identified to further increase the efficiency of the work. These measures and the applied innovations are aiming and serving to upgrade the efficiency of the work performed, the quality of sanatorium-resort services, and further increase transparency and efficiency.
