The member Organization of the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation organized by the Republican Committee of the Trade Union of Healthcare Workers (ASIHIRK) “run towards health!" within the framework of the project, a running competition was held in Gusar district.
The project participants first visited the monument of great leader Heydar Aliyev in Gusar district, laid flowers in front of him and honored his memory. The national anthem was also performed at the event, and the memory of our martyrs was commemorated with a minute of silence.
Health workers of Gusar, Siyazan, Khizi, Shabran, Khachmaz and Guba districts, as well as students of the Guba Medical College took part in the five-thousand-meter race. As a result, 6 winners were awarded. The winners received the right to participate in the final competition to be held in Khankendi.
The event continued with the artistic part.
It should be noted that the competitions dedicated to June 17 - the professional holiday of medical workers are aimed at effective organization of leisure time of medical workers, promotion of physical health and strengthening solidarity among trade union members.
