Educational events were held in the villages of Aghaly and Jahangirbeyli of Zangilan district, organized by the Labor Protection Center under the State Labor Inspectorate Service of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population.
The events, which were also attended by representatives of the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation, were held as a follow-up of state support for ensuring decent work in enterprises operating in the liberated territories. The Center provided employers with detailed information on the services provided in the field of labor protection and workplace certification. Meanwhile, the job providers have got a detailed knowledge concerning application of the approved new state standards regarding occupational safety.
During the events, the participants were enlightened in detail about the decent labor policy of the state, the basic requirements of labor legislation, safety standards at workplaces and mine safety rules.
As part of the educational events, the attendees handed memory booklets, leaflets and other instructional materials, as well as answers to their questions.
