The Customs Workers' Trade Union, a member organization of the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation (AHIK), held an extraordinary report-election conference.
At the conference, Chairman of the Union Rovshan Namazov made a report on the work done over the past period, and the report of the Audit Commission was heard.
Then, videos were screening about the activities of the Union, digital transformation, social projects and work done in the field of establishing direct communication with members, as well as projects implemented by the AHIK. The representatives who spoke at the conference gave a satisfactory assessment of the work done, and the reports were approved by voting. Later, the new composition of the Union was formed, the chairman and deputy chairmen were elected, the members of the Inspection Commission, and representatives to the Assembly and Executive Committee of the AHIK were determined.
Hasan Jafarov, Head of the Staff, Kenan Asadov, Deputy Head of the Staff, and Orkhan Arabov, Advisor to the Chairman of the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation expressed their views on the activities of the Union in their speeches and wished them success in their future work.
