A meeting was held between representatives of Nakhchivan State University and the Academy of Labor and Social Relations of the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation.
Elbrus Isayev, Rector of Nakhchivan State University, highly appreciated the initiative to establish new cooperation and emphasized that bilateral relations would contribute to the development of the educational environment. Speaking about the multidisciplinary training of the university, the Rector provided information about the activities of the higher education institution.
Gazanfar Abdullayev, Chairman of the Nakhchivan Council of Trade Unions, a member organization of the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation, noted the importance of cooperation between the two higher education institutions in training competitive personnel, exchange of experience and implementation of innovations.
Orkhan Arabov, Advisor to the Chairman of the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation and Yusif Aghayev Acting Rector of the Academy of Labor and Social Relations stated that this meeting would enable to have conditions for active relations between higher education institutions in the areas of education, training and scientific research.
Finally, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between Nakhchivan State University and the Azerbaijan Academy of Labor and Social Relations.
The Memorandum envisages joint cooperation in areas of mutual interest. At the meeting, it was decided to establish working groups for the purpose of promptly resolving issues arising from the Memorandum.
