The Council of the Republican Committee of the Oil and Gas Industry Workers’ Trade Union — a member organization of the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation — convened for a formal session.
The meeting began with a minute of silence in respectful remembrance of the nation’s martyrs. During the session, organizational matters were addressed and corresponding decisions were made. Following a vote, Rufat Zamanov was elected Chairman of the Republican Committee of the Oil and Gas Industry Workers’ Trade Union.
The Council also adopted a resolution to hold the 6th Congress of the Republican Committee on June 18.
